Brookline SmartPrograms

SmartVacations | SmartClasses | SmartSummers

From Brookline and beyond, enrolled students will learn new talents, improve skills, and make friends in state-of-the-art computer labs, kitchens, art and pottery studios, athletic facilities, and performance spaces. SmartPrograms meet in public school buildings during vacation weeks (December, February, and April), after school and weekends, and the summer months. We are under the umbrella of Brookline Adult & Community Education, a self-supporting program of the Brookline Public Schools.

Brookline SmartVacations offers a perfect combination of learning and fun during the December, February, and April school vacations.

Current Classes

Brookline SmartSummers, now in its 25th year, is run through Brookline Adult & Community Education. Our themed offerings have given a wide range of students from our community and beyond a chance to explore different topics, while also making new friends and engaging in lots of summer fun. SmartSummers staff are professional artists and educators from in and around Brookline. Many of our staff have deep roots in the Brookline Public Schools and have been with our program for over ten years. In typical summers, we create original musicals and perform them, build websites that showcase a wide array of computer skills, introduce young artists to new levels of creativity using a variety of mediums, play basketball, put on plays, speak English with our international friends, and more!

Programs meet in-person Monday through Friday, for one or two weeks, between June 28 and August 20 2021.

Join SmartPrograms for a perfect combination of learning and fun!
