How many times have you separated from a family member, a good friend, or a significant other due to various circumstances? It doesn’t get easier. Perhaps one of you relocated, was married or divorced, or became ill. You don’t see each other frequently now. The good times seem to exist only in memory. Perhaps the separation was due to a relationship that didn’t work out. There is much emotion involved in a breakup for the person who initiates it and the person on the receiving end.
