Amy Lampert brings over thirty years of management experience in the financial services industry, with titles ranging from financial advisor to executive management consultant, to her role as an instructor at Brookline Adult & Community Education. After working on Wall Street, she founded the not-for-profit Women’s Financial Network in 1998 and continues today as the founding principal of WomensWorth (www.womensworth.com), a company whose mission is to demystify the world of money and increase financial literacy and empowerment among women and youth.
A licensed securities supervisor, Amy is also an arbitrator with FINRA, the financial industry’s self-regulatory agency. She spends her leisure time mentoring younger professionals who are starting out in the financial services industry, offering counsel to mid-careerists desiring more meaningful work and encore careers, and on offering pro-bono consulting services to non-profit boards in the area of diversity/inclusion and governance. Amy is currently affiliated with The Bulfinch Group, a wealth management firm located in Needham, MA. And has been recognized in Boston Magazine as one of the areas Five Star Wealth Managers for six consecutive years. Amy has written frequently as a consumer advocate for individual investors and was the author of a blog. Amy feels most rewarded when she is helping clients demystify the financial planning puzzle and speaking to groups about being smart investors and wise consumers of financial advice.
