Payment is due in full upon registration for all SmartVacations programs (December, February, April) and SmartClasses (after school/weekend classes). For SmartSummers programs, payment is due in full in late April.
For summer programs: Brookline SmartSummers for Children, the $6 registration fee and required down payment are non-refundable. Balances must be paid no later than April 30, 2018. Because space is limited in our children’s SmartPrograms, transfers are only available under the discretion of the director, and a $15 transfer fee will be charged for each change in registration. If you withdraw your child before June 1, 2018, a $25 processing fee will apply. No refunds or credits will be granted after June 2, 2018.
For all other programs: (SmartVacations and SmartClasses for Children) if you withdraw at least ten business days (Monday-Friday) in advance of the starting date, you may request a refund, minus a $15 processing fee. If you elect to receive a course credit, the $15 processing fee will be waived. The $6 registration fee is non-refundable, unless we cancel due to low enrollment.
Because space is limited in our SmartPrograms, transfers from one program to another are only available under the discretion of the director.
If the program you wish to register your child for is filled, he/she will be placed on a waitlist. Our office will be in contact if space becomes available. Please note: your child is not officially enrolled if he or she is on a waitlist. During February and April Vacation programs, your child will not be registered for any classes unless the minimum number of classes required to complete a day’s schedule is met.
Completed emergency forms are required before the start of a program. If you are registering online, you will fill it out online at Check Out. To create an account or login to register, click here. If you would like to have a hard copy of the emergency form, you can download it here.
We want to ensure our program is a safe and positive place to be for everyone. We have a “Zero Tolerance” policy for physical violence, bullying/verbal harassment, theft or destruction of property. Parents of students who violate this policy will be called and asked to provide an immediate pick-up.
A limited number of scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis. Please call Brookline Adult & Community Education, 617-730-2700 ext. 0, for an application.
